Will D.J. Tanner and Steve Hale be an item in Fuller House?
Actors Candace Cameron Bure and Scott Weinger, who play the iconic TV pair, teased the reunion on their Instagram accounts Tuesday night, and it has us all sorts of excited to see where their Fuller House relationship is headed.
Weinger captioned the photo with a simple, "Sorry, Internet. #fullerhouse @candacecbure #iloveyoudj"
But an apology might definitely be necessary since the news of a D.J. and Steve reunion has the potential to be more damaging to our online usage than Kim Kardashian's behind.
The world has been waiting for news of what happened between these two '90s lovebirds.
We know that they didn't end up together, at least at the point where Fuller House is picking up. In the show, D.J. is now a mom of three and recently widowed. The pressures of single parenthood get to her, so she calls on her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy for their support.
That doesn't exactly sound like the show is setting the stage for romance to blossom. It seems like D.J. will have some work to do in the healing department before she's ready to jump into a relationship. But we're all for the slow burn between her and Steve. Just sayin'.
Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier) will also be making appearances. In fact, all of the original Full House crew is set to have a role in the reboot, except the Olsen Twins as of now.
