Are you ready for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday? Andy Samberg is undoubtedly frantically preparing for the show, as he's already begun rolling out the red carpet for all of TV's biggest celebs.

Like, literally.

And while we are all waiting in anticipation to see who the big winners are this year, we're equally excited to watch Samberg host, because, let's be real — there's a slim to none chance that the show won't be hilarious because of him.

Since we've all got him on the brain, here are some facts and deep cuts we dug up about the comedian to quench your Samberg thirst for a few more days.

1. He got his start as a monkey

Some of the earliest footage of Samberg is him starring as "Monkey" in this experimental video he made with a friend while they were still in college. The song is based on a graphic novel of the same name by author and illustrator James Kochalka, who confirmed in a 2011 interview with A.V. Club that the man in the gorilla suit is, indeed, Samberg.

2. He's an O.G. YouTube star

Long before Justin Bieber was even a wag in his dad's tail, Samberg was collecting fans by uploading videos to the Internet. OK, Bieber was born in 1994 and YouTube was created in 2005, so maybe we're exaggerating a little, but Samberg was definitely putting together skits and videos with his group, Lonely Island, for the social media platform long before The Biebs broke out on YouTube in 2007.

The old-school Lonely Island videos on YouTube are actually what helped him get noticed by the powers that be over at Saturday Night Live. So in a weird way, Samberg opened up some doors for Bieber.

3. Being a fanboy led to his marriage

Samberg married musician Joanna Newsom in 2013. The two met after he took in one of her shows and he called himself a "superfan" of hers in a podcast interview with Marc Maron in 2014.

Behold Newsom's talents as she performs for Dave Letterman back in 2010.

4. He lives in Charlie Chaplin's old house

Samberg and Newsom dropped an estimated $6.25 million in 2014 on a Hollywood Hills mansion that Chaplin himself once rented in the mid-1920s, according to Variety.

The 6,400 square-foot home was sold to actress Mary Astor after Chaplin vacated.

We highly recommend you check out the breathtaking pictures of the mansion here.

5. He's related to Mayim Bialik

When his house gets toilet-papered, anyway. "If your house gets TPed, it's fully fair game to recover that TP, re-spool it, and use it in your everyday life," he told Complex magazine. "You gotta be careful about sap. That could be a bad situation."
