Christina is a reporter based in Boise, Idaho. She's a veteran vegetarian, a political junkie and a huge grammar snob. On the weekends, she can usually be found binging on Netflix, playing the piano or petting her cats, Daisy and Dandelion.

What we didn't know? She can also handle some of the hottest stuff around.

In a sneak peek at the series premiere of FABLife, Teigen shows viewers just what she's made of by challenging strangers on the street to a pepper-eating contest.

"I've never met a pepper I couldn't handle," she warns her potential challengers. "Who's ready to take on Teigen?"

And she shows, pretty quickly, that she's not messing around. Mrs. John Legend apparently likes things hot — and proves it, especially when she faces off against a big, burly "brother from Watts."

"Let's make some tears roll," he says to Teigen after she warns him that he's chosen the hottest pepper she's got. He taunts her, "You want to pick something a little milder?"

And when the two face off, it only takes one bite to reduce Teigen's competitor to tears, and she looks him in the eye with a stone-cold expression on her face.

Beginning Monday, Teigen will join FABLife as a co-host, alongside Joe Lee, Lauren Makk, Leah Ashley and Tyra Banks. Banks is spearheading the new project, which promises to entertain and empower its viewers to make their lives more fun and beautiful, E! News reports.

"The fire to inspire women and help them to blaze new paths fiercely burns inside of me," Banks explained in an interview soon after the show was announced. "I'm excited to be partnering with Disney-ABC to usher in a new era of lifestyle, beauty and entertainment that will inspire women to be the CEO of their lives via honesty, humor and the newest tips and tricks without being intimidating or precious."
