The reality star is shilling a new waist trainer on social media, and the dramatic results are leaving fans cold — and very concerned for the condition of her organs.
The ultra-dramatic hip/waist ratio achieved with the waist trainer is controversial at best — and fans took the opportunity to remind Kardashian that, beyond looking ridiculous, the glorified corsets can cause serious issues.

And fans are right to be concerned. According to Dr. Travis Stork of TV's The Doctors, waist training can have dire consequences for one's health.
"When you press [internal organs] inward, what can't happen? Your diaphragm, which allows your lungs to expand and contract, can't do its job," he said. "It doesn't help you lose weight. If anything, if you wear it too tight, you’re not allowing your body's natural core musculature to develop."
