Shameless: A crude new neighbor is moving into the Gallagher's neighborhood

You'll never guess who's moving to the South Side to cause trouble for the Gallaghers this season

After five incredibly raw and human seasons of Shameless, Showtime is finally hooking up the Gallaghers with a new neighbor. From the sound of it, he's a ton of trouble, which makes him absolutely perfect for their South Side style.

Will Sasso (The Three Stooges and a million other hilarious guest roles) has been officially named as one of Shameless' Season 6 recurring characters, and he's bringing even more trouble and controversy to their street. According to Deadline, Sasso will play Yanis, who lives on the other side of Kev (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton). Just like everyone else in their neighborhood (or maybe even slightly better), he'll play a blue-collar worker who is pissed beyond measure at the gentrification currently creeping down the street.

We saw a touch of the neighborhood change already. Lip took part in some new construction, while some remodeling of the older buildings almost put Kev's bar out of business. And everywhere the Gallaghers looked, they were beginning to see new, upper-class neighbors buying up houses on the block.

This season, it appears the gentrification goes into overdrive. The Gallaghers and Kev and V weren't exactly happy with the move toward middle class, but they had more important things to worry about. Yanis appears to be a neighbor who has always "technically" been next door, but we won't have heard from him until this season, when the neighborhood changes cause the large, surly neighbor to become more vocal. How does he combat the new, uppity neighbors? By spending most of his day revving his motorcycle engine and shouting sexual advances to the new folks.

If you've ever seen Sasso in action, you already know how absolutely perfect he is for this role. We can't wait to see what kind of crude hilarity he brings to the South Side, or to anything else Shameless Season 6 has to offer.
