The Orange Is the New Black star is currently on holiday with Swedish DJ Avicii on the island of Formentera, a popular hot spot for celebrities, which is part of the Balearic Islands of Spain.
Of course, you can't read a headline about Rose that doesn't mention her tattoos — and her swimwear has allowed her to flaunt them. But how many tattoos does she actually have?
Well, even Ruby Rose has lost track!
"I don't actually know how many I have. If you counted them individually it would be, like, 30 or something, but some of them are grouped together as one piece," she told Inked magazine during a 2010 interview.
That was five years ago, and the actress/DJ/model is now thought to have over 60 different tattoos, including a rose with an architectural design around it. This was her first tattoo, which she had done when she was 16 years old. And although she would never get a design like that now and refers to it as a "tramp stamp", she doesn't regret it.
"It's such a 16-year-old’s tattoo. I would never get that now. But I would never get it removed either," she told Inked magazine.
Other tattoos include a portrait of late street artist Jean-Michel Basquiat on her left arm — she also has one of his sketches across her bust — the words "Just Love" written across her knuckles, lifelines on her neck, Maybelline's slogan "maybe she's born with it" on her collarbone and a deck of cards with an ace of hearts on her chest.
There are also tattoos that hold a lot of meaning, like the one of her fiancée Phoebe's name tattooed on her back inside a red heart, and boxing gloves on her shoulder blade — in honour of her godfather, boxer Lionel Rose.
She also has quirky ink of cartoon characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Astro Boy and a pink anime-like character, as well as a unicorn on her thigh, a key on the bottom of her right forearm and several abstract symbols. Yowzer.
