It caught everyone off guard and left fans devastated, wondering who would fill the void in Furious 7, which Paul was still filming when he died. Ultimately, his brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in to help finish the movie, an act that was therapeutic for fans, everyone on set and, undoubtedly, Cody and Caleb themselves.
The two brothers flourished on the Furious 7 set, and now Cody is focused on creating an acting career of his own. He's currently filming USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage alongside Nicholas Cage and Tom Sizemore and has been sharing photos of the experience.
Though the world was introduced to Cody through Paul, we think it's time that he is known as Cody Walker, not "Paul Walker's brother." Here's some things to know about him.
After Paul's death, Cody dedicated himself to keeping his brother's legacy alive through the charity he ran, Reach Out WorldWide. "As Paul would say, 'When you put good will out there, it's amazing what can be accomplished.' We can all make a difference in this world, and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother's legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on," Cody said.
Cody may be pursuing an acting career, but he still helps run ROWW and often posts about it on social media.
Judging by Cody's posts on Instagram, we're seriously thinking the guy should consider taking his acting career down the comedy path.
Yeah, we said it! Having a Star Wars birthday cake, singing the theme song and making lightsaber noises totally make him a Star Wars nerd. And we love it.
A dog daughter, that is. We triple-dog-dare you to look at that photo and not say "awww."
Cody is definitely a California boy at heart.
Hiking and fishing are common themes on Cody's Instagram.
The actor received his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu last year.
