She also rocked a short, choppy haircut. A dramatic change from her usually very long, sometimes braided hair, which basically brought down the entire cast of Fashion Police with one ill-thought-out joke.
The "Replay" singer got a lot of backlash and negativity on the internet about her new 'do.
A flurry of tweets simply stated they didn't like her hair.

And many fans said they prefer the young star with long hair.

There were some less-savory tweets, like this one in particular that showed Zendaya next to a picture of Bruce Lee.

Come on now.
Zendaya, never one to back down, responded with the perfect tweet, saying, "When people don't like your hair but they tweetin bout you tho…. #idgaf #idgaf."
Of course, the cherry on top of the IDGAF cake was her Snapchat post later on that night where she shut down all the haters entirely when she snatched the wig she was wearing for the awards show off her head, revealing her still-intact locks.
i love the way she always snatch off her wigs pic.twitter.com/x6PMWaVaLv— black girls (@bombblackgirlss) June 29, 2015
I don't think there is a hairstyle this lovely young lady can't pull off and her wig looked fierce, but this is the perfect way to handle the haters.
