Taking to Facebook, Williams wrote a lengthy post addressing the problems he had with the interview and how he believes that the Duggar parents are in "denial."
"After watching the Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar interview, I'm just stunned. They are in denial. Do I feel for their predicament as parents, of course, do I feel for their daughters of course, I am the father of 3 daughters," he began.
He also believes that nothing about the Duggar family is real, and what they did to their daughters by covering up the incident and making them "smile, nod and forgive" clearly indicates a deeper issue.
"There is something very sinister beneath the surface - these are people who basically said they thought they could be as preachy as they wanted because the records were sealed, these are people who seemingly minimize what happened in their home and essentially sent a message to their daughters to smile, nod and forgive," he continued. "It's eerily reminiscent of the 'keep sweet' mantra in Warren Jeffs' FLDS. Nothing about these people is real. Nothing about these people isn't hypocritical."
Another great point that the talk-show host made is about how the Duggars set such double standards when it comes to themselves.
"They are in the predicament they are in because a) they attempted to sweep it under the rug, and b) they chose to preach holier than thou against everyone from #lbgt to people that allow their kids to date," Williams writes. "I don't get these people. I pray for them, but I'll never get how they seemingly don't get what was going on around them?"
