He took none other than his precious 11-month-old daughter, Royalty.
The celebritot wore a super adorbs gold tulle tutu and the cutest little Timberland boots. Brown was nominated for three awards, including top R&B song, top R&B artist and top R&B album.
The new dad toned it down for this red carpet, too, wearing a very classy-looking black blazer and white button up shirt. The daddy-daughter duo definitely complemented each other. While this might be her first red carpet, the little girl didn't seem scared or timid but looked very comfortable in her father's arms. And he seemed perfectly happy to be toting around the toddler, as well.
Brown seems to be flawlessly falling into his role as a modern father. And the evidence is all over his social media pages. As most new parents are oft to do these days, their newsfeeds morph from parties to baby pictures and Brown's is no different.
Amid a flood of support, where there used to be mixed reviews of the previously beleaguered performer, now we can see almost exclusively positive comments. Fans are saying things like, "I'm proud of you," and "so glad to see you are stepping up and taking responsibility," and one of my favorites, "Glad to see you are finally being a positive role model."
He posted this cute video of little Royalty mimicking "yo-yo" a few days ago that totally melts our hearts.
For all the problems and issues in the past, it sure does look like fatherhood is doing Brown a world of good. He certainly seems to genuinely love his little girl, that's for sure.
