Portwood is totally smitten with her now-fiancé Matt Baier, but some fans had concerns that she may have made a hasty decision allowing Baier to move in with her, a sentiment that her cousin, Krystal, appears to share.
On last week's episode of Teen Mom OG, Portwood's cousin, Krystal, with whom she enjoys a close relationship, came to visit her. And one of the first things that she noticed was that the house was a little different and filled with new pictures.
"Where'd you get all the pictures?" Krystal asks while looking around the room.
"It's his pictures," Portwood tells her cousin.
From the clip, it's clear that something is bothering Krystal, and Portwood keeps asking her to tell her about it, until she finally does.
"My concern is that you may be moving fast; it's just weird to me," Krystal explains. "It's just different. It's weird.
"The last time I talked to her there were concerns about the age," Krystal tells Baier of the 19-year age gap between him and the much younger Teen Mom star.
Krystal also brings up an important question as she asks Baier how he feels about helping raise Portwood and her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley's 6-year-old daughter, Leah.
And Baier's response was a little surprising.
"If Leah needs something, I'm there," Baier tells Krystal. "But it's not my job to raise her and I think it's good for Leah that I'm not her father, because we can just have fun and hang out, and do our thing."
Krystal did not seem to love this response, and while she may have some reservations about her cousin's relationship, it's only because she doesn't want her to make a mistake. But Portwood wants the world to know that when you're in love, nothing else matters.
