After years of delinquent behavior that includes peeing in a wash bucket at a restaurant, showing up 2.5 hours late for his own concert, picking a fight with Orlando Bloom and using the N-word, Bieber deserves to be put in his place a bit.
But the pop star, who just celebrated his 21st birthday, might finally be turning over a new leaf. After some top Hollywood comedians threw some pretty harsh shade at him first, of course.
Hart showed up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk with the host about the roast's taping last Saturday, which even he described as "rough."
"There were some moments where I was like, 'Justin's gonna cry in the car. There's no way he's not gonna cry,'" Hart explained.
The comedian continued, "You know how you look at a person and they're trying to have a good time, but you can tell there's a tear? It's a laugh, but it's not. I kept pointing at him, like, 'You better hold it back, boy. You don't let them cameras see it come down.'
"He did one knee slap where I think he covered up a cry," Hart said.
So is stomaching an hour of insults from the top comedians in Hollywood enough for Bieber to atone for his years of mean behavior?
Only the roast will tell when it airs March 30 on Comedy Central.
