OK! magazine confirms that while the couple hasn't announced an engagement yet, Amy has been telling family and friends that she and her boyfriend, Dillon King, are "getting married." The source also told OK! that Amy is ready to settle down, despite her aspirations to make it as a country music singer.
Amy, who is Jim Bob Duggar's niece, has been featured on the show multiple times as she pursues her music career. Her real last name is actually Jordan, but even she refers to herself as a Duggar.
Even more scandalous than Amy's hunt for a ring is the fact that she and Dillon have already broken the intimacy rules.
They posted a photo of them kissing on New Year's Eve and obviously weren't shy about facing any criticism.
Normally, Duggar rules of courtship are extremely strict. For Jill Duggar and her new husband, Derick Dillard, the two followed guidelines, including never being alone prior to their marriage and only participating in "side hugs" before their wedding day. The couple didn't even kiss until their June 2014 wedding. Of course, the newlyweds didn't waste any time getting intimate following their nuptials. Jill is now 28 weeks pregnant.
It's clear Amy is following a different set of guidelines, though she is still sure to proclaim her faith on social media.
"Hey everyone our main purpose is to love God, have fun along the way and try not to kill each other!! ;) #TLC #19kids," Amy and Dillon say in their bio for their couple's Instagram page.
