Nobody saw this coming.
The eccentric Lady Gaga has revealed she has been rendered immobile by a medical condition and has postponed her upcoming shows.
The songstress disclosed via Twitter that she is suffering from synovitis — a condition of joint inflammation, or rather the inflammation of the synovial membrane lining the joints.
"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened," Gaga tweeted. "I've been praying it would heal."
The singer added, "I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't."
Gaga's tour dates for Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton have been cancelled, but make-up dates will be announced. The 26-year-old singer is hoping to resume the tour next Tuesday.
"To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im [devastated] & sad," she tweeted. "It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry."
We think getting back to the tour so soon is a bit rash, but we're not doctors. Lady Gaga needs to take care of her health to continue leading the hectic life she leads right now.
We wish her all the best and hope she'll be back on her feet soon!
