Kristin Chenoweth leaves The Good Wife

Actress recovering
from on-set injuries

From SheKnows Canada
Le twist! We didn't estimate the injuries to be that serious, but Kristin Chenoweth has dropped out of The Good Wife after being hit in the head on the set of the show.

Kristin Chenoweth

Alas, the little adorable blonde hobbit known as Kristin Chenoweth will not be returning to the set of The Good Wife because of the injuries she suffered back in July.

"It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife," the actress said in a statement.

Chenoweth was set to play a clever, inquisitive political reporter in multiple episodes of the drama series starring Julianna Margulies, but was unexpectedly struck in the head by a loose piece of lighting equipment. She will still appear in The Good Wife's season four premiere.

CBS Television Studios confirmed the star's exit but also stated they are open to the possibility of Chenoweth's return when she is well again. So do not despair, loyal Chenowethians; the actress may still reappear on the show!

With Kristin's petite frame, we're surprised she's not under constant protection of some kind of force field or at least a helmet… We imagine a strong wind could actually whisk her away into the horizon, not just drop heavy equipment on her head.

That woman has the voice of a fairy tale mermaid; she must be protected! We wish Chenoweth a speedy recovery. Opinions?
