Mockingjay's first clip provides biggest shock ever

The countdown is on. In less than 15 days, we get to experience Mockingjay — Part 1 and this teaser is making us hungry for a revolution!

We get to watch the very first clip from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 and the fever is building. In this 41-second scene, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is seated in a cafeteria-style eatery. Though we're not sure exactly what's on her plate, she hasn't had a bite. Clearly, she's preoccupied with the revolution that's about to take place.

On multiple video screens, Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), says, "There's been rampant speculation about what really happened in the Quarter Quell and here to shed a little light on the subject for us, is…" and the mystery figure appears on screen. We're not going to spoil the surprise for you, but even if you haven't read the books, it's not that hard to figure out which main character is going to return for Mockingjay. Without this character, there would likely be no Katniss.

What we can't get over is the look on Katniss' face as she discovers who exactly Caesar is referring to. Fifteen seconds into the clip, Katniss sits back in her chair as the blood drains from her face. JLaw has no words, but her facial expressions are so real, so raw, she appears to have been punched in the gut.

Without blinking, she stands up and makes her way closer to one of the video screens. Her jaw drops as she's consumed with emotion. She finally whispers, "You're alive," as if her biggest wish was finally granted.

We really hope the filmmakers release more clips like this!
