Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Trump let his feelings be known when he tweeted about watching Russell Brand on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and what a loser he thought he was.
.@katyperry Katy, what the hell were you thinking when you married loser Russell Brand. There is a guy who has got nothing going, a waste!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 16, 2014
Remember seeing Brand sit down with Fallon? Don't worry, neither do we, because Trump got it wrong. Brand appeared on NBC's Today, ABC's The View and CBS' the Late Show with David Letterman on Oct. 13, E! News reports.
This mishap probably sparked Brand's response about whether the business mogul was drunk.
.@realDonaldTrump are you drunk when you write these tweets? Or does that foam you spray on your bald head make you high?— Russell Brand (@rustyrockets) October 16, 2014
While these two have been engaged in a vicious war of words via Twitter, it got us thinking: Trump is not the only person who dislikes Brand. In fact, we can think of a few people (and reasons why) who aren't that fond of the comedian.
Media mogul Simon Cowell previously revealed that he thinks his fellow Brit star's call for a political revolution is hilarious, and that Brand is just a hypocrite.
"Donate all the money back to the revolution and then I'll believe it. I'm living in a $10 million mansion and I want a revolution? Give me a break," Cowell previously said of Brand to Shortlist magazine.
Russell Brand and Katy Perry's divorce was highly publicized, and not just because of how heartbroken the "Dark Horse" singer was at the time, but also because he told her he was divorcing her via text. And then he never spoke to her again. Charming.
Russell Brand recently made some serious points about the British political system, in which he claimed that he refuses to vote. This sparked an outcry by not only many politicians but also Sex Pistols front man John Lydon. Lydon recently told The Independent that Brand's comments were "damn ignorant" and "the stupidest thing I've ever heard," adding that he was "preaching his views from his mansion."
It was in the name of comedy, but Brand bashed his ex-wife Perry in a not so comical way in August of 2013 during one of his London shows.
"When I got divorced, I considered becoming a monk," he said at the time, according to the Huffington Post. "When you're a monk, you're not allowed to have sex with anyone. When you're married, it's one person. That's one more than a monk. It's not that different. I'd be having sex thinking, 'Think of anyone, anyone else.'"
Or so thinks Donald Trump, who was quick to tell Brand's ex-wife Katy Perry (and the rest of Twitter) that he thinks Brand looks absolutely terrible.
.@katyperry I watched Russell Brand and I think his mind is fried - he looks really bad. Russell is a total joke, a dummy who is lost!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 17, 2014
