Sporting a growing baby bump, the Gossip Girl alum was positively glowing in a gown from the Michael Kors Resort 2015 collection, and she was more than happy to gush about her pregnancy.
Here are just some of the reasons why she's loving having a bun in the oven.
Motherhood is something Lively has always wanted. She comes from a big family, and it has always been her dream to start her own.
"It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl," she told Us Weekly at the event. "I never knew what I wanted to do for a living, but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here."
Pregnant women deserve a supportive husband, and the Hick actress has just that in her hubby. The blond beauty told Us Weekly that he's been taking very good care of her during her pregnancy.
"He's always good to me," Lively admitted to the publication. "That's like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."
Lively and Reynolds have both previously expressed their desire to have multiple kids, so it's about time they started the process.
During an interview with Details magazine in August 2013, Reynolds said, "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families — my parents did four, Blake's did five. A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know? We'll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think."
Lively has been planning this whole kid thing for quite some time, and she has found inspiration in Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's family. The Savages actress told Allure magazine in 2012, of her inspirations, saying, "As somebody who knows Ben [Affleck] and Jennifer [Garner], they cannot be more sacred with their family and their home life."
Lively couldn't have said nicer things about her baby's daddy than she did during an interview with Vogue magazine in August.
"He's going to be a great father and leader and patriarch — he's so meant to be all of those things," she said. "The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become, and we get to grow from there."
