Corey Stoll and Nadia Bowers have taken their relationship to the next level: Find out why

There have been so many celebrity breakups this year that it makes a nice change to see a celeb couple that are still going strong. Homeland's Corey Stoll and his actress girlfriend Nadia Bowers are certainly going strong. In fact, the happy couple have just gotten engaged!

So far, Stoll has had a successful year in his professional and personal life. Not only has he secured a role as Peter Russo in the Netflix political drama House of Cards, he also has landed a high-profile role as Dr. Ephraim "Eph" Goodweather in The Strain. He's all set to make his debut on the Season 4 premiere of Homeland, and he's in the new movie drama The Good Lie.

And now to add to his good news, Stoll is engaged to his beautiful girlfriend, Us Weekly reports.

SPOILERS: Can Carrie hold back the crazy in Homeland Season 4?

"Corey and Nadia are such a great couple, she's an amazing support to him," an insider revealed to Us Weekly. The source added, "[I] wasn't shocked when I heard they had gotten engaged. Everyone is super happy for them."

The pair certainly appear to be very happy together, which was evident when they attended the Toronto International Film Festival together in September, and they were all smiles while mingling with Robert Downey Jr. They also sparked engagement speculation at the event because Bowers was spotted with a massive diamond sparkler on her finger.

This has certainly proven to be a wonderful year for Stoll. In addition to planning his dream wedding (although Bowers will probably do most of the planning), the Golden Globe-nominated actor's Hollywood star is swiftly rising. We're looking forward to seeing him channel his inner villain in Marvel's new film Antman, in which he plays Yellowjacket. The movie is set to hit theaters in July 2015.
