According to the Daily Mail, the notoriously private actor revealed to Swedish newspaper Nöjesbladet that he sees his half-Swedish son almost every day and that he and Eberstein remain amicable.
"We are very good friends and she's a very good mother," the Four Weddings and a Funeral actor confessed.
"[I see him] all the time, all the time — most days," he said of his son. He added that his relationship with him is "excellent" and said, "I love him very much."
Eberstein gave birth to a baby boy in September 2012. While she originally left Grant's name off the birth certificate, she added it in December 2013.
What made the birth of his son with Eberstein so scandalous was the fact that Tinglan Hong was also pregnant with the pair's second child, a son named Felix, at the same time.
The actor also touched on his feelings toward Sweden during the interview, saying he was "very comfortable" in the country and that he'd be returning again next summer. The actor also has been avoiding the world of showbiz recently and has become more involved in an anti-press campaign.
"On the whole, I've been trying to get out of show business for the last five years," he explained to the newspaper. "I really don't do very much acting anymore. I'm doing a film next spring, but mostly my life is politics."
