The infamous couple from the hit reality dating series went for a stint on Couples Therapy, another reality show, to see if they could make their relationship better. Not even a few minutes into their first episode and the fact that Galavis still hasn't said "I love you" to Ferrell was already mentioned. Shocker.
"I don't want to force anything from him," Ferrell said. "But there is still a part of me that thinks, 'Maybe today it's going to come. Maybe tomorrow it's going to come.'"
While Galavis claims he didn't know Ferrell was feeling that way, he still stuck to his unwillingness to say what she so desperately wanted to hear. Plus, he went on to give some oddball explanation as to why he won't utter the three magic words.
"It's when you feel that you cannot live without this girl," he said. "Now, I feel like if she left me, I'd be very sad, I don't know if I'd die, but I'd be very sad."
But, wait. This wasn't even the worst of it. When Galavis was talking about Ferrell to the other show participants, he bizarrely said the blond stunner was like a daughter to him. "Some days, I feel like I have to push her, I feel like a dad to her, but I'm not," he laughed.
Understandably, Ferrell took offense at that statement and did not find it at all amusing.
"I don't act like I'm 15 years old," she objected. "For him to tell complete strangers that, it's embarrassing and just not funny."
However, as off as Galavis and Ferrell's relationship may seem, the pair said that they are still together to this day, mostly thanks to the therapy sessions they endured on the show with Dr. Jenn Berman.
"We are so glad we did [Couples Therapy]," Galavis told Access Hollywood. "I don't think we'd be together right now if we hadn't done it."
