The "Diamonds" songwriter gave a rather bizarre interview and refused to show her face during the entire interview with Chelsea Handler. That's right, Sia remained with her back to the audience (all you could see was her amazing blond bob), and she explained why privacy has become such a big deal for her.
The singer has been concealing her face in recent performances, videos and even the album cover for her new record, 1000 Forms of Fear, and she revealed that it's partially because she doesn't like the paparazzi.
"I don't want to be famous. All my friends that I write pop songs for are super famous, and it really f***ed them up!" she revealed. "And like being hunted, paparazzi-style, just that stuff doesn't appeal to me. I'm really private."
Handler then asked if she wants to avoid the scrutiny, to which the singer responded, "Exactly! I want to get to be able to get fat and pee on the side of the road!"
However, it was not just her privacy that was on the "Chandelier" hit maker's mind — she was also willing to open up (kind of) about her recent nuptials to her beau filmmaker Erik Anders Lang.
"Awesome, so nice. You nearly came," Sia said of her wedding, which was held at the couple's home in Palm Springs, California.
"I wanted to come to your wedding, but it was Sunday night, Palm Springs… I don't know how to get there!" Handler joked.
The star went on to speak about the inspiration behind her new hit track "Chandelier" and how it is about sobriety. She also touched on how she knows when a song is going to be a hit, but you can watch the rest of the Australian star's interview below.
