Juan Pablo Galavis still going strong with Nikki Ferrell during his big b-day bash

Former controversial Bachelor leading man, Juan Pablo Galavis, and his chosen sweetie, Nikki Ferrell, prove they are still going strong while celebrating his 33rd birthday in Miami, Florida.

Celebrating Galavis' birthday for the first time as a couple, the Bachelor star and his girlfriend, Ferrell, were all smiles during the big bash in Miami's Flamingo Theater Bar, People reported. The pair, who got together at the Season 18 finale of ABC's hit dating show, although not engaged, looked very happy together as they mingled with guests and family.

Galavis also introduced Ferrell to many of his pals, who had not met her before that night, and she also enjoyed time with his family again.

"I had an amazing time with his family," Ferrell told the entertainment publication. "And I also got to meet so many of his friends."

The happy pair spent lots of time dancing to Miami favorites, Periko and Jessi Leon, as well as a set by the Julca Brothers. Proving that last month's breakup rumors were totally false, Galavis and Ferrell stuck together for most of the night, being very affectionate and sweet to each other.

At one point, Grammy-winning salsa singer, Obie Bermúdez, serenaded the pair with "Adventures in Loving You," which is Galavis and Ferrell's song.

"That was definitely my favorite part of the night, as that song brings back a lot of fun memories," Ferrell said. "The only thing missing was maybe a little country music, like Luke Bryan or Jake Owen!"

Meanwhile, Galavis was very happy to have his girl celebrate with him and said he looks forward to spending many more birthdays with her.

"She's a wonderful woman — smart, caring, who treats my daughter amazingly well," Galavis said. "She's the one who has to deal with this Latin guy, with a culture that she sometimes doesn't understand. She's been able to handle it well!"
