After her infamous union with Kris Humphries in 2011, in which she filed for divorce just 72 days after the wedding, Kardashian seems to be headed for a lasting and successful marriage.
While her first marriage to Damon Thomas lasted a whole three years, it also ended in disaster. But, keeping her private life with West away from the public eye is actually a big part of what has made it work this time around, the New York Daily News reported.
"As much as we would love to share these memories on camera," Kardashian tweeted about her lavish European wedding to West last May, "we've decided to keep this close to our hearts and share thru photos."
In addition, her romance with West is not directly documented on her Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality series like her relationship with Humphries was. The rapper is barely seen on the show, and is mostly heard from through the occasional filmed phone call.
West did not appear in special events that were filmed for the show such as Kardashian's trips to the Hamptons, or her sister Khloé's birthday. However, the pair express their love for each other constantly and spend time off-camera whenever they can.
"You know, now that I'm married," Kardashian recently said on CNBC, "I would so much rather spend time with my husband, my family and my baby than run around the world working for other people."
The two lovebirds are also constantly giving each other compliments and letting the world know how they feel about each other. "Kim is this girl who f***ing turns me on. I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around," West told GQ in an interview for the August issue.
Kardashian, who shares 1-year-old daughter North with West, gushed about her husband when she sent him a birthday message on Instagram June 8.
"You have changed my life in more ways than you know!" the brunette beauty wrote. "The way you look at life inspires me! I love you so much!!!"
