Kardashian has opted to keep a low profile and stay out of the public eye to deal with his various problems and he has resurfaced recently — for the first time in a long time — in Malibu, California, on Sunday, July 27, while he enjoyed time at the family's beach house, Us Weekly reports.
There as been much speculation as to what Rob is going through, with reports saying it's his weight gain that has made him depressed and others assuming he has a drug problem. However, one thing is certain: There are mixed feelings when it comes to his family and their support for him.
Older sister Kim K previously revealed on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she was taking a tough love approach when it came to her brother.
"We've all been here to offer him help and he won't take it, so I don't have sympathy," she said.
"I think I'm just more of the tough love kind of person," she later clarified. "My personality is like, 'All right, you complain, you don't like it, get up and do something about it."
Khloé came to her brother's aide and momager, Kris Jenner, also appears to be very concerned about her only son.
During the July 27 episode of KUWTK, Jenner was heard telling Kim, "It's the worst feeling in the world when one of your kids isn't in a good place.
"I want to fix Rob and sometimes you just can't," Jenner continued, "I have not not cried myself to sleep in so long that I don't even know what that's like."
"You don't think it's torture for me to be here in Thailand and have him at home?" she added tearfully. "I can't control someone else's behavior and I have to learn how to deal with that."
