In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Skaar is filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple does not have any children and, as expected, Skaar is requesting spousal support from her star husband. Even though she may be involved in the glitz and glam of fame through Vartan, it doesn't mean she can't hold her own. Skaar is a real estate agent and even filed for the divorce papers without a lawyer.
Despite the announcement, Vartan and Skaar had an adorable first encounter in a Whole Foods parking lot in Los Angeles when the Bates Motel actor reportedly engaged in some "online stalking" to meet her. In an interview from the archives with People, Skaar told the magazine that she played hard to get after their grocery store encounter. "We didn't date right away," she admitted. "I wouldn't give him my number but did take his e-mail address, and we didn't see each other until a few months after our first meeting."
Once their romance took off, Vartan would go on to pop the question in 2010 and the duo would wed a year later in Newport Beach, California. It marked the first marriage for both of them. Unfortunately, if you're looking for further details surrounding their split, you probably won't find any on Vartan's Twitter account as the actor's feed is in fully-fledged sports mode.
