Many fans are living vicariously through Zoila, who has found herself a hot boyfriend, Javier. Javier also happens to be a chef and wants to take her to Paris. He is boyfriend perfection, which is why we were screaming at the screen last night when Zoila briefly went back to her scheming ex-husband Pablo. Mercifully, she was quickly reminded what a chump her ex is and went running back to Javier. Shwew!
Devious Maids junkies love the well-intentioned Rosie. She is usually the most hard-luck maid of the four, but not in the Season 2 finale. After Rosie had crossed the evil-doing Reggie, he threatened her with deportation. Spence fixed all that — after attending the fastest rehab program in television history, he asked Rosie to marry him. Now these two lovebirds can finally be together!
All that glitters is not gold in Devious Maids land, however. While Spence and Rosie's love is strong, Spence's bank account is not. He was wiped out in his divorce and is currently unemployed. That left Rosie in the awkward position of having to fire her friend Carmen. While at a bar licking her wounds, Carmen meets an attractive man who sets her up with a record producer. What Carmen's new friend fails to mention is the record producer is his wife, a fact Carmen learns after sleeping with the guy.
Marisol has known that her new husband Nick has a deadly secret after he admitted as much in a drug-induced haze. Determined to get to the bottom of it, Marisol digs into the dead housekeeper's safe deposit box where she is shocked to finally learn her husband's secret. Nick is the one who ran over Evelyn and Adrian's son, an event that has shaped their marriage into a warped mess. Marisol marches Nick over to Evelyn and Adrian's to confess his sin. Adrian attacks Nick with his anniversary present from Evelyn — a Mayan dagger.
For all the story lines in Devious Maids that we love, Ty's isn't really one of them. After Ty and three of his friends form a gang that steals from the wealthy and donates their spoils to the poor, a celebrity is accidentally killed in one of their raids. Valentina's boyfriend is one of the gang members, and when he confesses to Valentina, Ty convinces himself that he has to take her out (even though at this point most of the other members of the gang have left the country). In the final scene of the finale, Carmen gets a good look at Ty before he drops his mask and drive-by shoots into the crowd emerging from Rosie and Spence's wedding. Does this mean Valentina will have to remain in Beverly Hills while being nursed by her ex-boyfriend Remi? We'll have to wait for Season 3 for this and other answers to be revealed.
