Katie Holmes poses topless, looks awesome in Glamour magazine

Katie Holmes stepped out of her comfort (modest) zone and posed topless for Glamour magazine, where she talked about dating and being a mom.

The famous ex of Tom Cruise looked amazing as she appeared without a top on a gorgeous spread for the fashion publication's August issue. Holmes posed wearing just a pair of high-waisted jeans and her arms across her chest.

This is the first time the, otherwise, fashion-conservative star has shown this much skin since her marriage and divorce from Cruise. But, while she looks awesome, The Giver star still said she likes wearing what she likes, and feels most comfortable in a pair of jeans — paired with a top of course. "I feel like I can do anything when I'm in them."

Holmes also spoke about not being too focused on dating at the moment, and after her infamous divorce two years ago, she's mostly into parenting her 8-year-old daughter.

"Motherhood is the greatest gift," Holmes said. "I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming. Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of."

The 35-year-old actress joked that as a mom she has "seen Frozen a lot." She also admitted that becoming a mother completely changed her life in a good way. She loves being a hands-on parent, making meals for her daughter from scratch.

"Plain pasta with butter is a hit, chocolate-chip pancakes are a hit," Holmes went on. "I do a homemade chicken finger. That's a hit."

The brunette beauty revealed that the normal moments she shares with her daughter are attributed to her own relationship with her family.

"I started acting at 17 and had success at an early age, where all of a sudden people knew who I was," the Dawson's Creek alum explained. "But my parents always treated me the exact same way at home and reminded me of gratitude. And that's been a grounding force."
