Many celebrities are doing their best to get married and give birth under the radar and away from the prying media. Count Noah Wyle in that category. He married longtime girlfriend Sara Wells at their ranch earlier this month in Santa Barbara, California.
He confirmed the news on The View on Tuesday by sharing, "It was beautiful. It was great. It was a very small ceremony — we have this little farm in California. We got married on the ranch in front of the barn and then took a honeymoon."
The couple "just got back from Paris" on their "very romantic" honeymoon. The newlyweds began dating in 2011. Wells is an actress who also runs a children's entertainment company. She's been seen in shows like Nip/Tuck and Californication.
Wyle was previously married to makeup artist Tracy Warbin for nine years. They separated in 2009 after he allegedly cheated on his wife. He and Warbin eventually divorced, but they share custody of their two kids, son Owen, 11, and daughter Auden, 8.
Since ER ended in 2009, Wyle has kept a pretty low profile when it comes to his personal life except for an April 2012 arrest for protesting cuts to Medicaid in Washington, D.C.
He talked about his arrest with the Los Angeles Times in 2012. "As soon as everybody saw me being led away, they let up a big whooping cheer, which made me feel really good." It was a moment he shared with his kids who were "proud of the old man right now."
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
