Kenan Thompson must be a very happy man right now because he's just become a first-time dad. The Saturday Night Live comedian and his lovely wife Christina Evangeline have welcomed their bundle of joy into the world, and it's a girl!
The loved-up pair have decided to name their tiny tot Georgia Marie Thompson, TMZ reports, and she weighed in at 6 pounds when she was born at 10:30 a.m. on Friday in New York City, New York.
The new mom took to Instagram to share adorable pictures of her baby girl on Saturday.
Sharing a beautiful picture of her daughter against her chest, she wrote, "We're just really sleepy."
Evangeline then shared a picture of the doting dad himself and captioned the shot, "While you were sleeping."
There's no doubt the first-time parents are thrilled with the birth of their daughter, and the funnyman previously shed some light on fatherhood during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers earlier in the year.
"I'm about to be a daddy! That's right! Papa Kenan," the former Kenan & Kel star gushed.
Despite the star's excitement for fatherhood, he also revealed he had a few reservations.
"I am terrified. I don't know what to do with babies. Like, do you feed it and like, put it away or something?" he said, before adding, "I plan to be, like, at the casino or something when she's giving birth — just kind of like old-school it a little bit."
Congratulations to the happy couple!
