And you thought your family was crazy

The film's trailer features an all-star cast and plenty of awkward moments.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for This Is Where I Leave You, and it's got us cheering for Tina Fey. Not only do we see the 30 Rock creator "nurple" Adam Driver (Girls), but she also punches Dax Shepard with a hilarious "That's the Princess cut!" exclamation that leaves us hungry for more laughs from the SNL alum.

Tina Fey finally confirms the fate of Mean Girls 2 >>

Directed by Shawn Levy (Date Night, Real Steel), the film centers on four adult siblings brought together by the death of their father. Jason Bateman and Corey Stoll join Fey and Driver in playing the Foxman children, who get "grounded" by their mother, played by Jane Fonda, in a bid to satisfy their father's dying wish that the family spend a whole week together. Fonda looks particularly fabulous in the trailer, freaking out her kids with a new pair of "bionic breasts."

Although the film appears to focus heavily on the all-star ensemble, each of the Foxman children display some shining moments in the trailer, giving us a window into the family's dysfunction. Fey lays out the big sister one-liners like a champ while Stoll absorbs his family's sarcasm like a sponge and Driver makes the moves on Connie Britton (Nashville) while the always likable Bateman navigates a freshly broken heart.

We get the feeling the movie follows Bateman's story line the closest, which is OK with us if it means we get to hear him say more mushy things like "I want a complicated life" while staring deeply into Rose Byrne's big eyes.

Additional cast members include Kathryn Hahn (We're the Millers), and Timothy Olyphant (Justified).

The film is based on the book of the same name by Jonathan Tropper. Tropper also wrote the film's screenplay. The film will be released on Sept. 12, 2014.
