Nickelodeon has a new addition to your awards show lineup: the Kids' Choice Sports Awards.

Nickelodeon has a new addition to their Kids' Choice Awards lineup: the Kids' Choice Sports Awards.

The network announced the inaugural show, along with nominees, today, and presented 15 kid-focused categories that your children can vote on themselves.

"Kids love sports and are very, very passionate about their favorite sports stars, so for these world-class athletes, it's going to be a competition they've never experienced before," said Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production. "It'll be fun and thrilling to see them off their home turf and playing on ours."

"I am so excited to be nominated for four Kids' Choice Sports Awards!" added tennis star Serena Williams. "I really hope my story will inspire kids to find their passion in life and have a lot of fun in the process. Do what you love and love what you do."

"I was so excited to hear about the Kids' Choice Sports nominations," said U.S. Gymnast Gabby Douglas. "To be nominated for Best Female Athlete is so awesome and humbling, but Queen of Swag... let's just say, leaves me speechless!"
