Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus is known for her wicked sense of humor and a nose for finding trouble, but she found an unlikely accomplice in Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday night.
President Barack Obama's speech at the White House Correspondents' Dinner was held on Saturday night, but before the annual gala began, Veep's producers decided to have a little fun and released a cameo video of the 53-year-old actress as her HBO's Veep character Selina Meyer.
What makes the cameo truly epic is that Louis-Dreyfus is joined by the real Vice President Joe Biden, and the pair team up to wreak havoc around Washington, D.C., instead of attending the president's annual gala.
The video begins when Louis-Dreyfus' character asks Biden if he's attending the "snorespondents" event, to which he responds by telling her, "No I'm not going, man. I've been there once. It's a bunch of politicians trying to explain politics to Hollywood."
This hilarious seven-minute, prerecorded video features the fictional Veep character alongside the real-life U.S. vice president as the two ride around town in a bright yellow sports car and enjoy a night filled with trouble.
And what trouble do the unlikely pair get into? Everything from getting matching tattoos, eating ice cream and sneaking into the White House kitchen and the Oval Office — and all of this is done while dissing and reprimanding just about everyone, including first lady Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi and House Speaker John Boehner.
