It's another girl for Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman after the couple welcomed Frankie, their second daughter together.
The pair confirmed the baby news to People magazine, saying their daughter arrived today, Tuesday, April 22, and wrote a statement to announce their new arrival.
"Happy to announce that today we are the proud parents of our second daughter, Frankie Barrymore Kopelman," Barrymore and Kopelman said. "Olive has a new sister, and everyone is healthy and happy."
While her first pregnancy was mostly kept out of the spotlight, this time around Barrymore decided to share her experience more openly.
"Last time I never commented on it and people just stalked me the entire time," the 39-year-old actress told People. "So yes, it's happening, it's true. I tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible."
Barrymore also admitted that she was not concerned about gaining weight during her second pregnancy. "You're not supposed to look perfect while you're making babies," she said in an interview with Women's Health recently. The 50 First Dates star also told Ellen DeGeneres in January that she wanted give in to her cravings and "enjoy the pasta right now! What's 10 pounds?" adding that she will lose the weight when the time comes.
Meanwhile, the Find It in Everything author admitted she was relieved to be having another girl because of the added the perks it will bring. "I have everything I need. It's all about hand-me downs and room sharing and all that stuff," Barrymore said in February. "I'm pretty psyched about that."
