Parody gold

So what's been happening in the world of parody lately, you ask? Talented jokesters have been busy taking cheap shots at Ke$ha, Shakira, Rihanna and Katy Perry. Close the office door and indulge in a few minutes of work-free chuckling. (Parodies NSFW)

Ke$ha and Pitbull, "Timber"

The fake Pitbull says it all: "This video don't make no sense. I have to speak to my agent." In this hilarious remake of Ke$ha and Pitbull's "Timber," Ke$ha stalks Pitbull, who does everything in his power to avoid her. (This parody was clearly made pre-Ke$ha's rehab, so you will have to frame it in that context.)

Shakira and Rihanna, "Can't Remember to Forget You"

This giggle-worthy knockoff of "Can't Remember to Forget You" features a fake Shakira being cursed by a "throat froggy" that makes her "sing like a goat." When a fake Shakira sings to a fake Rihanna "Don't piss me off or I'll unfriend you" and then proceeds to make her friend nachos to make her feel better for dating jerks like Chris Brown, this video becomes parody gold.

Katy Perry, "Dark Horse"

In an attempt to be the first one out of the parody gate, sometimes parody artists are a bit hasty in their mockery and — as is the case with this "Dark Horse" parody — the result can be a bit lame. What makes this poke at Perry worthwhile are the "cameos" from John Mayer, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Russell Brand.

Pharrell, "Happy"

We were really hoping to find a parody of "Happy" that featured Pharrell's goofy hat. While we failed in that effort, we did find this little gem that parodies "Happy" and all the zombies who are obsessed with video game apps. "Flap your wings if you think Flappy Bird is a douche." Bah, ha, ha!
