You probably never realized these actresses (like Emily Blunt and Kate Hudson!) had amazing voices — take a listen

Did you know Kate Hudson could sing? Or how about Jena Malone? We've been blown away by both actresses' talent, and it got us thinking about all the other talented ladies in Hollywood who can carry a tune. Some of these singin' celebs might surprise you, but they really shouldn't.

Did you know Kate Hudson's first love is music? We didn't either, but after hearing her sing, it makes total sense. During an appearance on The Tonight Show, she told host Jimmy Fallon, "I've always been scared of making music, because I like authentic [songs]. I like music that feels really honest. I love pop music." We can only hope she'll overcome her fear and create a pop album, because she sounds fantastic.

Jena Malone

As it turns out, Saved! and Hunger Games actress Malone has been making music for almost a decade and currently spends a decent chunk of her time as the front woman for Los Angeles's The Shoe. Check out the first single off their upcoming LP, I'm Okay.

Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere

Remember when they were just Coach T's wife and "The Cheerleader"? Now, Britton is Rayna Jaymes and Panettiere is Juliette Barnes on the hit show Nashville. Their singing chops are pretty remarkable. Who could've guessed!

More: Oh, Nashville! Where will Season 2 take us?

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt may have played one fiery chick in The Devil Wears Prada, but she actually has quite the sweet voice on her.

Allison Williams

Despite the fact that Williams has been singing for quite some time, when her Girls character, Marnie, burst out into song, viewers were stunned. We especially love her cover of "Hallelujah."
