Third time's a charm for Thandie Newton! The actress has added baby No. 3 to her growing brood — this time, a bouncing boy.
The For Colored Girls star announced her new addition on Twitter, sharing that she had a natural home birth and named her new addition Booker Jombe.
Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday— Thandie Newton (@thandienewton) March 4, 2014
My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint - and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive!— Thandie Newton (@thandienewton) March 5, 2014
Newton wed British writer, director and producer Ol Parker in 1998. The couple already have two daughters together: Ripley, born in 2000, who was named after Sigourney Weaver's character in the Alien movies, and Nico, born in 2004, named after the German singer.
Parker also tweeted his pride of becoming a father for the third time and thanked fans for their well-wishes.
We had a baby, that's a beautiful thing. He's called Booker, and while he doesn't do much yet, I suspect him to be awesome.— Ol Parker (@olparker1) March 4, 2014
Many thanks for all the new baby wishes I haven’t replied to personally. For taking the time, and sending the love; both much appreciated.— Ol Parker (@olparker1) March 5, 2014
Newton can currently be seen in the DirecTV series Rogue.
