Why everyone loves Ellen

Ellen's back hosting the Oscars, and we couldn't be more excited! Check out our video to see the love and support stars are offering her.

It's no secret that Ellen Degeneres is one of the most beloved gals in Hollywood. She's known for being relatable and funny, but there's also a genuine kindness about her which is very rare for a comedian. So many funny people rely on humiliation humor, but not Ellen. She's always been one class act.

We caught up with a few celebs recently to find out what they think about Ellen.

Dubstep violinist Lindsey Stirling said, "I love how quirky and weird she is and she totally embraces it. It was Ellen Degeneres who actually inspired me to start doing my random violin dancing, in a way. But it's a long story."

Singer Michelle Branch said she wished Ellen's show was on late-night so she could actually watch it. Um, can somebody please buy Michelle a TiVo?

Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars weighed in: "[Ellen] is very relatable. For some reason, when you watch the show, you feel like you know her."

Wilmer Valderrama from That '70s Show called her "the voice of a generation for us."

Matt Walsh from HBO's Veep called Ellen "energetic," adding, "She's probably collected some good writers over the years, so the jokes should be funny."

Ellen

We're so excited to see what Ellen will be wearing tonight. Most likely it will be a tux, but what color? So far, we've seen a lot of white tuxes on the red carpet, but maybe she'll do something a little bolder. A gold tux perhaps? Or maybe a silver one? Who knows — maybe she'll even sport a dress.

We'll just have to wait to find out!
