James Scott was born Jan. 14, 1979, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. After high school, he moved to Edinburgh and began working in theater with actors like Stephen Fry and Eddie Izzard. He started modeling after high school (he was signed by Storm Modeling Agency, the same agency that represented supermodels Kate Moss and Elle Macpherson), which took him on a trip to Los Angeles where he attended an acting class that inspired him to save money and make the move to sunny L.A.
Donald Feinberg was born Dec. 31, 1962, in New York City and moved to Los Angeles as a child. He started using his mother's maiden name (Diamont) when he began modeling and acting. The youngest of four children, his family is very close-knit. He was on the 50 Most Beautiful People list by People magazine in 1990, making him the first actor from daytime to be chosen for the list.
James Scott: After two years in the city, he was cast as Ethan Cambias on All My Children, and in 2006, he moved on to the role of EJ DiMera on Days of our Lives. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
Don Diamont: Several years into a successful modeling career, his first break was on Days of Our Lives, playing Carlo Forenza. After working on the show for a year, he moved over to The Young and the Restless, where he played Brad Carlton for 11 years. He took a couple years off and then made a comeback for another 11 years. In 2009 (the same year he left The Young and The Restless), he joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful playing Bill Spencer Jr. He has expressed interest in writing on the show as well.
James Scott: As is the protocol of most soaps, there are a lot of scenes that involve taking off one's shirt. Scott keeps fit by hitting the gym regularly, eating healthy and walking his dogs.
Don Diamont: Diamont is an avid cyclist and enjoys playing basketball.
James Scott: He is the co-founder of URTH Solution, which helps developing countries capitalize on their resources without hurting the environment.
Don Diamont: He has a niece with multiple sclerosis and is very active with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Every year he hosts The Cure by the Shore, a charity event that benefits the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Diamont/Alyssa Mazur Fund for Multiple Sclerosis for the Department of Neurology at UCLA.
James Scott: He attended an all-boys boarding school in Lancaster and then moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where he began working at the Gilded Balloon theater.
Don Diamont: He excelled academically in high school and was a star athlete. While attending college, he auditioned for a prestigious acting coach in Los Angeles, which led him to be signed by an agent and cast on Days.
James Scott: He met his model/actress fiancée at a dog park in Los Angeles. He describes his perfect evening with her as "taking our dogs for a run on the beach or going to the movies or eating lots of salad and watching movies at home."
Don Diamont: In 2012, he married his long-term model-actress-fashion designer-realtor girlfriend, Cindy Ambuehl, in France. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and six children.
