With all of the Justin Bieber shenanigans in the headlines this week, it's tough to remember one of the first tiffs the singer got into with one of his neighbors, Keyshawn Johnson. It looks like the ex-NFL player has had enough of his Calabasas, California, neighborhood, because he's moving out and another celebrity is moving in.
According to TMZ, Kourtney Kardashian has dropped over $8.4 million on Johnson's former home. It's quite a step up from her current home, which is on the market for $3.5 million.
The house boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and over 11,000 square feet of room for Kardashian, boyfriend Scott Disick and their two kids, son Mason and daughter Penelope. While the family will be neighbors with the troubled Bieber, they won't be living next door to him. Their house is a few blocks away from Bieber's home in the gated community of The Oaks.
While Bieber is currently the prime suspect in an egging incident at his next-door neighbor's home, it was Johnson who was upset at the 19-year-old for driving recklessly around the neighborhood where Johnson's kids played. While TMZ says the move has nothing to do with his inconsiderate neighbor, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant must be happy to leave the mess behind.
In fact, Johnson even weighed in on Bieber's arrest on Thursday. He sent these tweets to his followers:
They finally caught HIM! Glad no one was hurt, no kids in the street. Everyone grows up at some point. Hopefully he learns from it.— Keyshawn Johnson (@Thromedamnball) January 23, 2014
The scary part is grown adults who are w/ him aren't protecting him from himself! All looking for a quick buck. Learning experience for all— Keyshawn Johnson (@Thromedamnball) January 23, 2014
Let's hope the Kardashian clan has better luck with having the Biebs as a neighbor.
