While many celebrities are off on exotic vacations celebrating the holidays, one supermodel decided to take time out from her busy schedule and give back. Gisele Bündchen stopped by 15-year-old Karina Moreira's house in Malden, Massachusetts, to brighten her day.

The teen is suffering from osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer. She went into remission in the summer of 2012 only to discover the cancer had returned to her lung and an area behind her knee in November. Moreira is being treated at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

The two became acquainted through the Jimmy Fund which raises funds for cancer care and research at the New England hospital. The holiday visit was arranged by Moreira's mother and Bündchen's sister via social media.

The Brazilian-born teen told People about the visit, "I was just getting ready to go to the hospital, and she came in my door to my room and said 'Hi!' and gave me a hug. I was shocked. I didn't jump or scream or anything, but I said 'Oh, my God' and gave her a hug."

The gals spent time applying makeup since Moreira has her own beauty blog, Chic by Karina.

"She brought beauty products for me, and I used them to do makeup on her," she shared. "I did her makeup and she did mine. She's really good."

Tom Brady's wife chronicled her time with the teen on her Instagram profile.

She wrote, "It was a pleasure to see you again @chicbykarina. You are a warrior, an inspiration of positivity and courage. I will be praying for you. Sending you love and light always."

Moreira is currently taking time out from the ninth grade to receive treatment for her recurring cancer.
