Dolly Parton is dreaming big when it comes to how to celebrate her and husband Carl's upcoming 50th anniversary. Time for wedding No. 2, perhaps?

Dolly Parton is dreaming up a major affair for wedding No. 2 in honor of her and husband Carl Dean's upcoming 50th anniversary.

The curvy singer, who first tied the knot on May 30, 1966, told Closer Weekly, "I'm getting married again!"

Speaking of walking down the aisle to exchange vows with her homebody husband, Parton explained, "We've talked about that — we might do it all over again! Another big wedding."

Lucky for Dean, the "9 to 5" hit maker has her sights set on their "big old plantation home" in Tennessee for what will surely be a star-studded event.

"We love it there," the 67 year old added, noting the location only makes sense because that's where she and Dean "have family and friends."

Curious as to why we never see Dolly Parton and her husband Carl together in front of the cameras? Though she continues to pop up at events all over the place, he's more than happy to hang his hat in Tennessee all the time.

"Carl doesn't like to fly," Parton offered. "Once many, many years ago, he went with me to Hawaii, and he enjoyed that, but he never wanted to go anywhere else."

"He's happy staying home and I'm happy traveling," the Joyful Noise star shared before adding, "We're both pretty much old mountain goats."

Just in case you're worried all that time apart is a bad sign for their marriage's chance to make it to 50-year mark, due to happen in 2016, the spunky singer tweeted this message on Dec. 23: "I hope people realize that there is a brain underneath the hair and a heart underneath the boobs!"

Would you consider doing a vow renewal as Dolly Parton plans to? Why or why not?

If they want to reaffirm their bond I say more power to them. I want to offer my Congratulations in advance. Their marriage is proof that people can have a loving relationship that doesn't need to conform to someone else's ideas and married people needn't be joined at the hip..
