Brad Pitt Has No Complaints At Age 50
Happy birthday, Brad Pitt! The 50-year-old actor has much to celebrate today, including landing his first cover of AARP The Magazine.
Brad Pitt's 50th birthday means a whole lot of celebratory spankings are in order. Today, Dec. 18, the beloved actor and father of six turned 50 years old and officially became eligible to join AARP.
Noting the megastar is now a part of their demographic, the magazine geared toward people of retirement age created a mock issue which features the hottie as an honorary cover boy alongside this heading: "Acclaimed Actor, Producer, Humanitarian, and Family Man, Mr. Pitt Joins the Club."
"I've given a lot of thought to it," Brad Pitt told Good Morning America last November of his upcoming milestone birthday.
"You become very aware of time and also, being a father, everything is time allocation for me now, making sure I spend my time wisely and doing the things that are important to me and spending the time I need to with my family."
Pitt later went on to tell People, "I want to make sure I'm doing things of value — that mean something to me. Make sure I'm doing things I've always wanted to try. And make sure I'm not doing things I don't want to do. Because I'm very conscious of time; I know it's limited."
Regarding kissing his 40s goodbye and embracing age, the World War Z star added to Today, "I haven't minded a bit, I have no complaints."
