It was a heartbreaking final goodbye to a much loved actor, brother, son, father and friend: Paul Walker was laid to rest Saturday morning at a private funeral and memorial service for family and close friends.
Walker, who was killed on Nov. 30 in a horrific car crash in California after a charity event, was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills with just family and close friends in attendance.
Later that day, a larger memorial service was held for a wider circle of loved ones, including many of his former co-stars.
After the memorial, Tyrese posted a touching tribute to his fallen friend on Instagram.
"Today in a room full of your loved ones I wish today was your wedding instead.... God has a better plan even beyond ALL of our own understandings...... For selfish reasons we all wanted you to stay, another laugh, another take, another talk, another moment..... I guess you can't get all you ask for in life.... But our hearts are FULL from all the moments we DID have, 13 years of laughter and grace, humility and love..... Never did I take my access for granted.... Continue praying for his #Family, his daughter #Meadow, you are the WORLDS best friend that's why we're all feeling it... #RIHAW Rest In Heaven Angel Walker," he wrote.
Ludacris posted the above photo in Instagram, reportedly taken from the memorial program, with the words "Always in our hearts…"
Others tweeted their condolences to their fallen co-star.
"I said goodbye to a great man today, a man I never got to show just how much I love his spirit and his golden heart, 'stay golden pony boy,'" wrote his Fast and Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez. "I hope you get my tweet in heaven, ps your [sic] right; 'stop talking just do it already';) Love you Paul, your departure is fuel to my fire, well meet again, enjoy that light."

The fate of Walker's final film, Fast and Furious 7, has yet to be determined, and the cause of the accident that killed the actor and his friend Roger Rodas has yet to be determined, but police believe speed was a factor.
