Taylor Swift is no stranger to success and she has had a string of very high-profile romances, but the "Love Story" singer believes that sometimes her fame is very off-putting to men.
At just 23 years old, Swifty is already worth a whopping $218 million and anyone she dates gets a song written about them... that is, without a doubt, a lot of pressure for any potential suitor.
Swift revealed her thoughts on the situation in the latest issue of Hello! magazine, saying, "At least I suppose it might [be intimidating]. It's not like I would look at a guy and say, 'Hey, are you intimidated by me?' I think that would be highly uncool on my part!"
"I tend not to be the one to start conversations with guys, anyway. I'm a little more old-fashioned than that. I assume that if someone is interested in me they will come up and talk to me — and if they want to call me up afterwards, then they will.''
The "I Knew You Were Trouble" hitmaker's previous boyfriends include One Direction hunk Harry Styles, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal, all of whom have inspired her songwriting.
The blond beauty said, "I try not to wishfully think my way into relationships — or maybe I should say I'm trying not to do that any more."
"I do tend to write more songs when I have a broken heart, though, because when you're in love, you're just so fascinated by the fact you're in love that you don't take the time to write down everything that you're feeling."
Any suggestions for who can inspire Swift's next song?
