When it comes to dressing up for the holidays, less is apparently more for some stars — think more birthday suit than Santa suit. Here are a few celebrities who've slipped off their clothes to get into the Christmas spirit.
Oh, Courtney Stodden... something tells us you land on Santa's naughty list every year. Last year, the now-legally-separated child bride set out to spread Christmas cheer via Twitter by sharing a picture of her wearing a pink Santa hat, satin gloves and that's all, folks. Unless you count the false eyelashes.
On VH1's Basketball Wives, Evelyn Lozada is no stranger to causing a stir. Last December, the reality TV star did just that when she stripped down... for a good cause. After watching graphic video footage of what goes on at fur farms, the former fur-lover vowed never to accessorize with animal pelts again. Then she disrobed for a holiday PETA PSA that urges people to swear off fur.
What do you do if you are sick and tired of seeing people flaunt fur coats during the holiday season? Well, if you're Christina Applegate, you take it all off. Like Evelyn Lozada, Applegate shed her inhibitions and her clothes to pose nude in an ad for PETA. In it, she urges people to banish fur from their wardrobes in favor of more animal-friendly fashion.
Since she's been known to wear some pretty out there ensembles — think cupcake-boobed bikini tops — it's not a huge stretch of the imagination that Katy Perry might disrobe altogether for an avant-garde birthday suit shoot. Last Christmas, the pop star did a scaled down version of just that when she posted a picture on Twitter of herself in the shower, wearing nothing but a Santa hat.
