Ellen DeGeneres Stages Their Wedding
Kaley Cuoco spent her summer mourning her short-lived relationship with Henry Cavill. However, everything turned around when she met her new fiancé.
It was an odd summer for Kaley Cuoco with her blink-and-you'll-miss-it relationship with Man of Steel star Henry Cavill. However, everything was on the upswing once she met her now-fiancé Ryan Sweeting.
On Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the The Big Bang Theory star talked about her life right now.
The 27-year-old actress told DeGeneres, "I am very, very happy. Life is so good right now. I cannot even tell you!"
Her relationship with Sweeting started very shortly after her breakup with Cavill, so she recognizes that the engagement looks "a little crazy to some people." In fact, the couple's engagement came after only three months of dating.
One thing that Cuoco did admit that after her short relationship with British star ended she was "very sad." Her friend encouraged her to meet Sweeting who was in town from Florida to cheer her up.
According to the CBS star, "We're still on our first date. He never went home!"
The actress and the professional tennis player want to marry sooner versus later, so the daytime talk show host decided to help the couple out. DeGeneres staged a fake wedding so the two could get married on her show.
The 26-year-old athlete nervously asked, "This isn't legal, right?"
DeGeneres had mentioned that her head writer was ordained as a minister just moments before she had them stand at the TV show altar. Even though the couple said their "I dos" on the air and sealed it with a kiss, it was all for show.
