Is Katniss Panem's Savior?
Katniss Everdeen's life is filled with drama. In The Hunger Games: Catching Fire she's at odds with everyone, including her best friend Gale.
Later this month, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returns for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Lionsgate has released the first clip from the sequel that features Katniss and her BFF Gale (Liam Hemsworth) having an intense conversation.
Katniss may be a Hunger Games champion, but her life isn't any easier. If anything, she has even more problems than before. She's become a beacon of hope for the citizens of Panem. The people look up to her as a sign of a better future. Because of that, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) wants her gone. She's forced to look over her shoulder because the government's watching her every move.
In the following clip, Katniss attempts to dodge her responsibilities as a heroine. She has no interest in being the savior for anyone besides her family and close friends. Gale tries to convince her that running away isn't the answer. But Katniss is a strong-willed young woman who sticks to her guns. Is Katniss really that selfish or just scared?
