Photos Show McPhee Kissing & Cuddling
Katharine McPhee was just caught cheating on her husband. Pictures show the Smash actress making out with director Michael Morris in broad daylight.
Is Katharine McPhee headed for divorce?
The Smash actress was just caught in a totally public makeout session with the show's director, Michael Morris. Both McPhee and Morris are married — to other people.
Michael Morris married Mary McCormack in 2003 and the couple has three small children together: Rose, Lillian and Margaret.
McCormack is a well-known actress with major roles in films like Private Parts (1997) and Deep Impact (1998). Mary McCormack is perhaps most recognized for her television work on The West Wing (2004-06) and as the feisty detective Mary Shannon in In Plain Sight (2008-12).
Morris and McCormack's three children are all under the age of 10: Margaret is 9, Rose is 6 and Lillian is just 2.
Katharine McPhee married her much older husband, Nick Cokas, in Beverly Hills in 2008. Neither McPhee nor Cokas have any children. McPhee told Lucky magazine in January 2013 that she was happier without children.
"I once thought that by now I'd have lots of children, but actually I'm really enjoying being able to go from point A to point B and the only worry I have is have my dogs been walked," said McPhee. "I'm selfish right now, but that's how and where I should be. The things is, work is the thing I love the most."
Sources for TMZ — whose cameras caught Katharine and Michael kissing — say friends close to the couple report they are unhappy and have been separated for six months.
Says TMZ on watching Katharine McPhee and Morris together, "It's unclear where Michael's relationship with Mary stands but it seems it's also on the ropes because over the weekend he was sucking face with Katharine in broad daylight in Los Angeles like he didn't care who saw. The two weren't shy with the PDA, either — holding hands and cuddling each other in Hollywood."
Neither Katharine McPhee nor Michael Morris' reps would comment on the cheating scandal. Smash was canceled in May 2013.
