The Bachelor Couple To Get Married On Live TV
The Bachelor sweeties Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have set their wedding date and their ceremony will be aired live on television.
It's been almost a year since Lowe beautifully proposed to Giudici on the Bachelor finale, which was aired a few months later on the show. Now, the pair is getting ready to say their vows and do it on live television to share the moment with fans all over. The happy day is set for Jan. 26, 2014 and will be live on ABC.
"It's really exciting," Lowe told People magazine. "Time has just flown by — I think January is going to sneak up on us pretty quickly!"
As for having their ceremony air on television, Lowe said, "I think it's only natural to have it on TV, seeing as how our relationship started. This will be a cool opportunity to share the most special day of our lives with all the people who have been invested in us along the way."
While lots of planning still remains to be done, Lowe and Giudici say they have decided on personalized vows, will have 12 bridesmaids and will go somewhere tropical for their honeymoon. However, the 27-year-old bride says she's still looking for a wedding gown.
"I haven't found my dress yet," Giudici said. "I know I want it to be form-fitting... Not too princessy."
Meanwhile, the reception will be a "big party" celebration. "It's about family and friends celebrating our marriage," Lowe said. "And that's really my only input. I'm letting Catherine make most of the decisions."
Lowe and Giudici are both living in Dallas now, although in separate dwellings, where they've continued to grow their relationship. "We're stronger than we've ever been," Lowe added.
"I fall more in love with her every day," Lowe gushed. "Watching Catherine walk down the aisle will be the best moment of my life."
The young lovebirds have really enjoyed getting to know each other after their television proposal, and love being away from the cameras. But they can't wait to share their big moment with fans, although they insist there won't be any red roses in sight!
"No red roses," Catherine said. "We've turned a corner."
